I hope this website provides you with an insight into life at our school.

In September 2005, we were delighted to be given a glowing report by Ofsted inspectors which included seven ‘outstanding’ grades and seventeen ‘goods’ and we were particularly proud that one of the ‘outstandings’ had been awarded to our pupils for their behaviour and attitude. The report rightly reflects the very hard work of pupils and their teachers to constantly raise achievement and endeavour to reach the highest possible standard, and concludes that our school:

• is never fully satisfied and always strives to improve further
• has a very strong capacity for further improvement
• has a very bright future

Your child’s education is, of course, very important to you, as it is to us as a school. I hope you will feel happy and confident in sending your child to a community which has recently been judged to be of a very high standard and also recognised as having the drive and determination to go from strength to strength in the future.
